The EasyRail is a high-quality anodized aluminum Roll-Off-Roof rail, developed for the reliable guidance of a movable observatory roof. Combined with the EasySlider, the EasyRail forms the mechanical basis for a smooth-moving Roll-Off-Roof observatory roof.
Price is per meter. Rails are supplied in standard lengths of 2 meters.
Easy installation of the EasyRail
The bottom profile section of the EasyRail features mounting holes for M8 lag bolts. The top of the profile has 10 mm holes, allowing the rail to be easily installed using a 13 mm socket wrench.
The rails can also be ordered to custom specifications. The maximum profile length is 3 meters. For deliveries outside Europe, the maximum length is 2 meters.
Multiple EasyRail profiles can be easily linked together using a stainless steel Interconnection Strip. This allows for the construction of longer Roll-Off-Roof rail systems for larger observatories.
Anodized aluminum for outdoor use
A key advantage of anodized aluminum is that snow and ice adhere less easily to the surface at low temperatures. This makes the rail system particularly suitable for use in observatories exposed to various weather conditions year-round.
The rail system also requires periodic light maintenance. For example, regularly check the rails for leaves, dirt, and other materials that may enter the rail due to weather conditions.
